The Parcel Benelux Accounting team in Maastricht was created 7 years ago and is a team of 38 enthusiastic colleagues in a solid mix of new insights and experience. Currently we are responsible for the accounting of four entities within Parcel Benelux. As the market is rapidly growing it is always changing a part of our day to day activities. This results into flexibility and working at innovative projects like RPA or process improvements. Our Accounting team is located in Maastricht and divided into four teams; Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Treasury, Cash & Intercompany and RPA.

Your role You execute and coordinate backoffice Intercompany administrative tasks and you ensure that the internal bank- and balancesheet clearing accounts are up to date and reconciled with Intercompany partners. You daily tasks are:

• Administer Intercompany activities with DP DHL entities

• Keeping IC differences below threshold

• Report timely within deadlines

• Resolve month-end IC differences and liaise with counterparts and Controlling to obtain clean balances to avoid financial risks

• Month-end close activities

• Conduct balancesheet account reconciliations and address action plans and follow-ups

• Work to Improve all IC process streams

• You will be involved in various projects in the financial accounting department

• Support / back up in Treasury activities

• Monitor the quality and recommend and implement improvements

Aanbod

• MBO+/HBO degree in Business administration / Finance / Accounting or equivalent

• Minimum 1-2 years experience

• Administrative experience, preferably in a similar position in an finance environment

• Experience with Oracle / SAP (preferred)

• Experience with and/or good knowledge of intercompany processes is preferred • Analytical and Problem Solving skills

• Verbal and written communication skills

• Language skills: fluent in Dutch, good knowledge of English and preferably German

• PC skills: good knowledge of MS Office, in particular MS Excel
